Dr. Sanjay V. Patel was born in a small town in England and moved with his family to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. He graduated with honors from Commerce High School in Commerce, Texas, then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Riverside. Dr. Patel continued his education at Loma Linda University School of Dentistry, where he received his Doctorate degree in 1996.
Since then, Dr. Patel has been providing cosmetic and general dentistry services to the people of the Inland Empire. Over the years, he has worked alongside some of the best dentists in the area – from Rancho Cucamonga, Corona, and Ontario to Hemet and Moreno Valley.
Dr. Patel started My Dentist in 2000 and has been dedicated to his mission of giving San Bernardino patients quality and affordable dental care, offering the same level of care that one would expect to receive in Hollywood, but without the high price tag.
Dr. Patel has a variety of hobbies that keep him active and engaged outside of the office. One of his main passions is working out & cycling, which he considers an essential part of his daily routine. Staying physically fit helps him maintain focus and energized throughout the day, which in turn benefits his patients. When he’s not cycling or working out, Dr. Patel enjoys deep sea fishing and is passionate about traveling with his family. He values family time and finds that traveling together helps them create lasting memories and strengthen their bond. He enjoys exploring new cultures and trying different types of beer and scotch. He finds that traveling helps him gain a broader perspective on the world, which he believes is beneficial both personally and professionally. Overall, his hobbies reflect his active and adventurous spirit, as well as his appreciation for new experiences and cultures.
M.H Kweider, DDS
Oral Surgeon
Dr. M.H Kweider graduated from Loma Linda Dental School of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2000 and has since dedicated his career to providing painless wisdom teeth removal services, often accompanied by a few jokes. Originally from Jordan, he now calls the city of Orange his home.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling and giving back to his hometown by donating both his time and money to improve the lives of its residents.
Dr. Frederick Johnson, Jr
Oral Surgeon
Dr. Frederick Johnson, Jr graduated with honors from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, in 2000. Afterwards he dedicated six years to the United States Public Health Service, providing care to Native American communities in Northern Minnesota and Northern California before returning to Southern California.
He is committed to treating patients with the highest quality of care and utmost respect ensuring that everyone feels valued and comfortable during their visits.
In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, playing chess and pickleball, as well as spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Joseph Shim
Associate Dentist
Dr. Joseph Shim graduated from Loma Linda Dental School where he gained a strong foundation in both the science and art of dentistry. His primary goal is to ensure that every visit is a positive and comfortable experience. He strives to create an environment where you feel relaxed and valued, aiming to make each appointment easier than any previous dental experience. He believes that dentistry is not just about your teeth, its about building lasting relationships and providing holistic care that addresses overall well being. He prioritizes open communication ensuring that you understand your treatment options and feel empowered to make informed decisions about your dental health. Dr. Shim is dedicated to staying updated with the latest advancements in dental technology and techniques to provide you with the best care possible. His aim is not only to treat dental issues but also to help you maintain a healthy smile for life.
Outside of the office, he enjoys rock climbing and has recently taken up pickleball.
